Moustafa F. Moukarim Son of Faiz and Jamal Makarem, from Ras El Metn, Lebanon, was born on December 16, 1944, in Kano, Nigeria.

1948 to 1963
, started education in Lebanon. Continued higher education:
1964 in Cairo, Egypt, and  1965 / 67
in London, England.
1968 Married Leila Yousef Zebian and moved to Kano, Nigeria to work in the family manufacturing business with brothers: Essam, Bashir, Adil, Hasib and Janah, until
1978.
1978 - 1981 lived in Weybridge, Surrey, England.
1981 - present
lives in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. and continues research and education.
January 1982 was appointed by Sheikh Mohammed Abu-Chakra (Sheikh Aql the Druze,  the highest spiritual leader)
as a representative of Mashiakt al Aql, with the authority to perform the duities of marriages, funerals, and writing wills.

Children:

-Son Basil was born in Lebanon. Graduated with D.D.S. from Baylor University, Dallas, Texas U.S.A. 2003 he married Inas Sajieh Harb, and they are blessed with two boys, Malek and Naji.
-Daughter Zeina was born in Lebanon. Graduated with B.S. in Communications from St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas U.S.A. In May 1993 she Married Nizar Fouad Abdul-Baki, and they are blessed with three children; Fouad, Serene, and Kareem.
-Son Maher was born in Kano, Nigeria. Graduated with MBA in Finance from University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, U.S.A. 2004 he married Ola Riad Saad, and they are blessed with a baby girl named Dalia
.

published :
FAITH of the DRUZE Simplified for the Youth

First Edition in English and Spanish. Second Edition in English only.
Distributes this book free of charge. This book was also translated to Portuguese language  by the Druze Community in Sao Paulo, Brasil.

In 1997
published two books: 
1. AL-KIAMA (The Life After)  
2. HAMZA (Strive for a wiser life)
